As a first-time homeowner, I have experienced the impact of rising housing costs firsthand. I am committed to fostering a community where everyone can afford to rent, buy, and remain in the neighborhood they love. By empowering residents to participate in our city's direction, we can create a space where every voice is valued.
Together, we can work to strengthen our city. I would like to share the motto I live by: "The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others" — Gandhi.

About Theta
Theta Vinegar is a candidate for Georgetown City Council. A lifelong Georgetown resident and graduate of Scott County High School, Georgetown College, and University of Kentucky she was raised in a family of ten siblings.
Theta brings 25 years of extensive professional experience in program implementation, budgeting, community partnerships, marketing, sales, business development, and contract negotiations. Her commitment to community service includes work with the Kidney Foundation of Central Kentucky, the National Kidney Foundation, the Ed Davis Event Committee, and serving as the Community Outreach Coordinator for the Fayette County Sheriff’s Office. Additionally, she has held leadership roles as President and Vice President of her local Beta Sigma Phi chapter.
As a City Council candidate, Theta’s campaign is built on four primary pillars: fiscal stewardship, workforce and affordable housing, smart infrastructure, and public safety.
